The uniform dress for regatta participation is our unisuit and water shoes. Bring 2 gallons of water for team use, clothing for any weather condition, change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, folding chair (if desired), rain jacket/poncho, change (or $1 bills) for vending machines and dinner on the way home. Many like to have pillows and blankets, homework, books, personal CD players, snacks, etc. for the bus. Label all clothes — we all have SC t-shirts and sweatshirts that look alike! Bring (appropriate) videos, if you’d like for the bus ride.

PARENTS might want to bring appropriate items above, plus folding chairs, cameras, binoculars, cooler with water/cold drinks. Bus seats are for rowers and regatta team leader members only. Parents might drive up early Saturday morning — check the website below for time of first race. At the regatta site, there are vendors selling food and snacks or donations for Sarasota Crew food (for parents) are appreciated. Many parents enjoy wearing Sarasota Crew shirts to regattas.

The Regatta is at Lake Fairview Park, 2200 Lee Road, Orlando, FL. From Tampa and Southwest Orlando, take I-4 East to Exit 88 (Old 46). Turn left at the exit ramp and go about two miles on Lee Road (SR 423). The park entrance will be on your left, about a half mile after the Edgewater Drive traffic light. You will see sports fields on both sides of the road as you approach the park entrance.

PARENTS PLEASE JOIN US. Spectators will have the option of riding in pontoon boats to see the start and body of races. The average ride will cover two races for a small donation.
