Historic Spanish Point

Historic Spanish Point is a 30-acre historic and natural environment off Tamiami Trail in Osprey, Florida. Early Floridians made this their home over four thousand years ago. This site, donated by the Palmer family in 1980, displays the remains of these prehistoric cultures, a peek into the lives of the late 19th century pioneer homesteaders and a lush natural environment. Historic Spanish Point is operated by Gulf Coast Heritage Association, Inc., a private not-for-profit organization. Sarasota Crew, Inc. is partnering with Historic Spanish Point to offer this youth rowing program at their beautiful and historic site.
