Masters Symposium Full wk option (Feb 4-7, 2027)
Not Just a Camp!
2027 - Masters Rowing February Symposium - Sweep and Sculling Options
An annual tradition! Come row and learn in Sunny Sarasota! It's not JUST rowing and video, but we do lots of that too!
When: Thursday-Sunday, February 4-7 BUT you do not need to make it for the entire time. You can come to the first two days (though we do get the best feedback from those who are able to commit to the four days). Those who have done only 2 in past years always tell us they wished they could stay for 2 more! We recognize that the 2nd two days may work better for some schedules, but it is tough to work new rowers in after we have already started and don't want to compromise your experience.
What: 2 day or 4 days of rowing, rowing and more rowing with unmatched coaching! Sweep and Sculling options--you can even do both! The symposium will combine on the water rows, with in-depth video sessions and on-land convention style seminars to help you do a deep dive into becoming a better and smarter rower. Each two days will include full days of rowing, seminars and video. We will start in the morning both days and wrap up late afternoon in enough time for some group dinners or you to get on the road if you want. You can sign up to scull and sweep half of your time or stick to one the entire time! We will send out a survey to collect your preferences of sweep and sculling after you register.
Dates:
2-Day Option: Feb 4-5
Full Week Options: Feb 4-7
Who: Masters rowers of all levels will be accomodated! We will group rowers of similar experience levels. Sweep vs. Sculling: You can decide if you sign up for 2 days or 4 days. For each 2 day block you can choose sweep or sculling. You will stay with sweep or sculling for the entire 2 days. There is a price discount for signing up for 4 days. We will wrap up by early afternoon on the last day to allow for travel home on Sunday evening.

Lindsay has worked masters rowing camps (as well as youth) for years. She also has been a commentator for many rowing events including most recently the NBC Paris Olympic rowing broadcasts.
